About Chucky
Chucky is a 1.5-year-old German Shepherd mix with a medium coat and a lot of personality. Weighing in at 72 lbs, he’s a large, playful, and energetic dog who absolutely loves affection. Chucky is up to date on his vaccinations and just received a clean bill of health, including negative heartworm and fecal tests and a current rabies shot. He’s a big, goofy cuddle bug who enjoys chewing on toys, romping around outdoors, and hanging out with people. Chucky quickly makes friends with other dogs and would fit right in with a household that already has a friendly canine. While he’ll stand his ground with more dominant dogs, he’s mostly about play and snuggles. With the right introduction and training, he’ll likely do well with cats, too. Chucky’s confident, friendly nature makes him a good match for active families with teens or for anyone who can provide both space to run and a comfy spot to be close to loved ones. Chucky’s ready for his forever home and would do best with another playful dog and lots of room to move. He’ll give back all the love and energy you put into him—and plenty more.
