Due to her owner losing his eyesight, he is unable to keep her, which is a difficult situation for both of them. Yuri has an affectionate demeanor and shows no hesitation when it comes to meeting new people, even hopping into strangers' vehicles without a second thought. While she hasn’t spent time around small children, her size and exuberant nature make her better suited for a home with older kids. A social butterfly at the dog park, Yuri has a playful spirit and loves her canine friends, although she tends to be selective, especially with Golden Retrievers. She enjoys playtime and has even been around chickens and horses without any issues. Yuri is house trained and adapts well to being alone; she’s also very manageable at the vet and groomer. Her playful side shines with kiddie pools, and she loves to snuggle in bed. Yuri has Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI), meaning she requires a special diet and daily B12 supplements to keep her health in check.
