Dixie is a ten-pound funny one! It's Dixie's time to shine, get comfortable with more people, trust and have FUN! She is a scamp and an escape artist with wander lust but has good recall for people she loves. Her curiosity can get the best of her. She loves riding in a vehicle, likes going on hikes, walks... she's not had a ton of leash walking, but will stay with a pack. She loves toys and chew sticks and such. She loves other dogs, would enjoy being part of a pack of 2 or 5! She can be wiggly and and fast like the wind, fast out a door. She is gaining confidence and social skills. Dixie loves snuggling in cozy dog beds, or on a chair/couch with friends. She is clever and with patience and consistency could become a mini agility dog, or any number of things, as well as a silly, charming companion. Dixie doesn't love all people, she can be protective or fearful and has bitten an ankle or calf, she's a lot better, and time and treats do the trick for her. She is not a "family friendly" choice, good for sturdy, adventurous adults w a sense of humor, patience and dog sense!
