Meet Sheeva! This sweet girl may not be able to tell us where she came from, but she's making it very clear where she's headed: straight into someone's heart. Sheeva is a gentle terrier mix who arrived to us as a stray from Kern County, so her story before rescue remains a mystery. Sheeva is good with other dogs and would thrive with a canine companion in the home. She is much more comfortable around people if there is another dog around too! She is quite nervous around cats, so would not be a fit for a home with resident kitties. Like many dogs who've spent time on their own, she may need patience and a safe space to settle in, but we believe that once she finds her person (and maybe resident canine companion!), she will truly blossom.
