About Ginger
Your new best friend is just one click away. Meet Ginger, a 3-year-old, 50 lb retriever/hound mix with a curious mind and a heart full of love. Ginger is affectionate and playful, always on the lookout for new adventures when she's not busy exploring her surroundings. Her signature move is the "sneak-attack kiss," and after a fun walk, she loves nothing more than to snuggle up on the couch. Ginger is smart and incredibly food-motivated. She already knows sit, shake, and come, and is picking up place and down with ease. She finds comfort in her crate, sleeps peacefully through the night, and often chooses her crate to lounge in during downtime. Energetic and active, she thrives on walks and outdoor activities, yet has a sweet, cuddly side once she's ready to settle down. Ginger will flourish in an active home with someone dedicated to keeping her engaged, providing positive training, and ensuring she has plenty of enrichment. She can be excitable and may pull on leash when overstimulated, so a patient and committed owner who will help her practice good manners is essential. Ginger is reactive to cats and may have some prey drive, so she needs a cat-free home. This low-shedding, affectionate girl is eager to please and will reward your effort with unwavering love, loyalty, and plenty of joyful moments. Fun fact: Born August 7, Ginger is a Leo—so expect a bold, lively companion who loves to shine! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
