About Diego
Diego is a friendly, outgoing dog born in May 2022, with the look and personality of a Labrador Retriever and Hound mix. He weighs about 45 pounds and has a short, easy-care coat in warm cream and fawn colors. Diego came to the rescue with his sister and is now hoping for his own family, ideally one with other dogs to befriend. He is house trained, crate trained, and does well on a leash, especially when out on long walks or hitting the trails—he’s happiest with plenty of adventure. Diego loves his toys, particularly chasing after balls, and thrives with lots of playtime. He does well with both people and other dogs and, based on his experience, would do best in a home without cats. Diego has been neutered, is up to date on vaccines, and is microchipped. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate companion who is ready for both relaxation and activity, Diego is a strong fit. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
