About Cora
Cora is known around here as our house hippo—she has spent more time with us than any other dog, and she’s overdue for a place to finally call home. She loves nothing more than sprawling out on the couch, cherishing every bit of affection from her person, and her loyalty is fierce once she bonds with you. She gives world-class cuddles and deeply enjoys being the only pet in the house, thriving in an environment without other animals. Cora blossoms most in a quiet, stable household where she can feel secure and unrushed. She prefers to meet new adults and children with slow, gentle introductions, taking her time before letting her guard down. Once she decides you’re her person, her devotion is unmatched. She isn’t the right fit for everyone, but she will mean everything to someone looking for a loyal, loving companion who is content to relax by your side. Fun note—Cora is a Taurus, which might explain her reserved but affectionate nature! Your new best friend is just one click away.

Questions about Cora
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Cora, being a mixed American Staffordshire Terrier, generally does best in a quiet home where she has a dedicated person or family. These dogs appreciate a secure environment with clear boundaries and plenty of affection.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
While Cora would benefit from a yard to stretch her legs, American Staffordshire Terriers adapt well to regular walks and mental stimulation even in smaller spaces, as long as exercise needs are met.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Cora prefers a calm space and only interacts comfortably with children after a slow, respectful introduction. As a breed, Staffordshire mixes can bond with children but supervision and proper introductions are important.
