About Beverly
Beverly came to Throw Away Rescue a few years back alongside her litter of puppies. When the rescue found her, she made sure not to be separated from her pups. Since then, all but one of her puppies have found homes—her lookalike, Half Pint, still sticks by her side. Over the years at the rescue in Irvington, AL, Beverly has become a gentle leader, helping new dogs adjust and feel safe. Her strength is in how easily she befriends others, especially dogs that are just arriving and a bit nervous. Despite being loving, sweet, and playful, Beverly keeps getting overlooked, likely because of her black coat and resemblance to a pitbull. She’s technically a Labrador mix, and truly, she just wants a family of her own. Beverly is known for bursts of energy and zoomies but is just as comfortable flopped on the couch. She adores kids, thrives on attention, and makes new friends with ease. She’s ready for a forever home and a family who will value her loyalty and affection. Ready to meet your new best friend?
