About Rover

Rover came into rescue after his mother was taken in by a Good Samaritan when she’d been abandoned, soon giving birth to four pups including Rover. Now about 12-14 weeks old and weighing 10-12 lbs, Rover is shaping up to be a medium-sized dog when fully grown. His mom is a Terrier/Pug mix at 25 lbs, and dad is likely a Labrador mix. He’s the playful, sweet type—gets along well with people, kids, and other animals. Rover is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and ready for a family of his own. While he’s making great progress in his foster home, any new environment can mean some house-training bumps along the way. Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue in Grand Bay, AL and handles applications thoughtfully rather than first-come, first-served. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
