About Onyx
Onyx packs the look of a Rottweiler into a compact, 45-pound frame. At around two years old, she's outgoing and always ready to play, especially with other dogs. There's a whole lot of spunk in this girl—she's full of energy, quick to ask for a bathroom break, and not shy about using her voice when she needs something. Onyx handles cats well, making her a solid fit for multi-pet households. She is crate trained, and though not fully house trained yet, she gives clear signals when it’s time to go outside. She does have a slightly deformed back foot—splayed, with the pad fully connected—but it never slows her down or causes pain. A minor trachea injury from her past means she might cough a little when she’s overexcited or walking on a collar, so a harness is recommended. Onyx is spayed, microchipped, and has been checked for heartworm. She’s also on regular flea and tick prevention. If you’re looking for a youthful, energetic dog who knows how to hold her own and get along with everyone, Onyx is worth meeting. Start your journey together! Apply now.
