About Journey
Journey is a 3-year-old Malinois/Shepherd mix who started out as a frightened stray, completely overwhelmed by shelter life. After being rescued and given space to decompress, she slowly learned the world isn't as scary as she once thought. Early on, Journey was so fearful she wouldn't walk on a leash, but patient hands and companionship from other dogs helped her build confidence. Now, she actually enjoys leash walks—though she can be jumpy if something startles her. She absolutely loves playing with other dogs and gains much of her confidence from their company, so a home with another playful dog is important for her. Journey bonds quickly with her person on walks and just asks for patience when meeting new people, as she’s still wary at first. She is not a good match for homes with cats. Journey is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date on preventatives. She’s looking for a calm home where she can continue to open up at her own pace. Ready to meet your new best friend?
