Kane is a nearly 9-month-old, medium-sized mix who leans toward beagle and hound roots, with a sweet face and a people-loving personality. He’s made friends with every dog he’s met in foster care and his foster family says he’s coming along well with both house and crate training. Puppy manners are still in the works, but Kane is learning fast, especially when there's good food and some TLC involved. He’s just under 50 lbs and probably close to fully grown. Since coming to foster, Kane's also learning leash skills and basic commands. He loves to play fetch—sometimes even brings the ball back—and adores attention from people. Most days, he’s happiest following his people around or settling in where he can see the action. While Kane is a big cuddlebug who gives kisses and does well at events, he’s not a match for homes with cats. He does, however, get along well with other dogs and children.
