About Cider
Cider just arrived and is still settling in. This friendly young pit mix is around 2 years old and came in extremely skinny, but thanks to care and plenty of treats, he’s already gained some healthy weight. He’s visibly nervous in the shelter, so he’ll need a confident, firm handler to help him feel safe—especially while he’s adjusting. Outside the kennel, Cider’s whole demeanor softens and he quickly becomes his best self. His time in the yard shows how loving and responsive he can be once he’s out of the stressful shelter environment. Cider isn’t house trained yet and will benefit from structure and patience in a new home. He’ll be available to meet this Saturday from 10am to 2pm in Breinigsville, PA. Adoptable dogs can be met in-person during those hours, but adoptions don’t finalize on the spot. Please note that the rescue operates with volunteers only and doesn’t pre-approve applications—plan any visits accordingly. Dogs from home aren’t permitted at Saturday events, so leave your own pups at home when meeting Cider. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
