Meet Goldie, a senior Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier mix whose spirit hasn’t dimmed despite a rough past. She and her sister arrived at the Dallas Animal Shelter severely emaciated due to suspected neglect, but Goldie never let her hardship define her. She’s become a living testament to resilience: affectionate with people, friendly, and able to enjoy both long walks and quiet evenings on the couch. Goldie is crate and potty trained, and she does best as the only dog in the home or in a household with other mellow pups. She isn’t suited to a home with cats. While Goldie enjoys human company and still has a playful side, she appreciates the slower pace that comes with age. If you’re looking for loyalty and warmth, Goldie could be the perfect match.
