Melvin is the definition of a gentle soul. This mellow, goofy guy is always finding his happy moments, and he’s on the lookout for his human companions. While he prefers to keep things low-key, he lights up with joy when it’s time to cuddle or greet you after a long day. With his watchful eyes, he always ensures those around him feel loved. Rescued from the challenging streets of Skid Row and Hollywood, Melvin has overcome quite a bit. He walks with a slight limp due to an old hip injury, likely from being hit by a car, but this doesn’t seem to affect his zest for life. He’s currently on daily pain management, just to keep him comfortable. At around 6 years old, he may look older due to past neglect, but he’s definitely young at heart. This sweetheart is fixed, vaccinated, and house trained. He does well with dogs and is great with children, making him a perfect family addition. While he hasn’t been tested with cats, his affectionate nature shines through. Melvin is ready for a forever home in Los Angeles. Don’t miss out on this sweet angel!
