About Dolly

Dolly came out of a tough hoarding case in Seguin, barely given a chance to start fresh. She gave birth to her puppies just two weeks after arriving. Early on, Dolly avoided any human hand and stayed fearful, but she’s transformed a lot over three months. She still gets anxious around strangers and may react by freezing or fleeing, but on leash with someone she’s learned to trust, she settles in and finds her calm. Dolly’s learning the basics of leash walking and feeling at home on decks and backyards. After sharing a home with around 40 other dogs, she’s comfortable and relaxed around canine friends. Building a relationship with Dolly will take patience and a gentle touch, but her eyes give her away—she’s ready to connect for real, maybe for the first time. Ready to meet your new best friend?
