Missy is one of three cats and three dogs whose owners both died. All were homes except for Missy and Mr. Puff who are still seeking forever homes. She loves climbing up in your lap and/or laying on your chest and will stay there for as long as you allow. She is mild-mannered and gets along with all the other cats. Missy will speak to you when she feels compelled to do so. She was very shy when she arrived. She and her two housemates were provided with their own room during acclimation and it took her about three months before she would come out of their space to explore and meet the other cats, so adopters may need to expect a slower acclimation with her. Once she was comfortable, she goes everywhere, climbs everywhere, and is comfortable mingling with the general population.
