About Jack

This could be the start of something paw-some. Meet Jack! This handsome senior Jindo mix, currently at Two Dog Farms, Inc. in West Sacramento, is around 10-11 years old and weighs in the mid 40lb range. Despite his age, Jack's energy is comparable to that of a much younger dog, making him both lively and fun. He enjoys daily walks, behaves beautifully on leash, and is known for his incredibly friendly personality. Jack loves pets, wags his tail enthusiastically, and is affectionate with everyone he meets. Jack previously displayed some light resource guarding at the shelter, but in his foster home, consistent meals and a calm environment have totally resolved this, showing what a gentle and adaptable boy he is. He came from a difficult background, arriving with a nearly embedded collar and in an emaciated state, but has blossomed under good care. Jack’s foster dad describes him as sweet, well-mannered, easygoing, and confident. He loves exploring the neighborhood, meeting new friends, and especially enjoys human interaction and attention. Currently, Jack is fostered with another young adult male Jindo, and they get along excellently, playing gently together. He would likely thrive in a home with another dog of similar size and temperament. Jack may also amuse himself with his own reflection, but nothing beats time with his people.
