He's a smart boy with a gentle heart and a big personality, looking for a forever home where he can be close to his humans and enjoy the simple joys of life. Stitch is a champion napper and loves his sleep so much, you’ll often need to wake him up in the morning! He’s not one for long outdoor adventures—while he enjoys the fresh air, when he’s ready to come inside, he’ll politely let you know by crying at the door. He loves playing with his toys, especially tug-o-war, and though he tears through his toys, he is not destructive in the house. Expect bursts of zoomies followed by well-earned rest. Stitch is incredibly affectionate and adores belly rubs, butt scratches, and all the attention you are willing to give. While he isn’t clingy, he enjoys being near his people and responds well to positive interaction, especially treats—particularly chicken! He takes treats gently and even knows certain phrases, like "Ready, Freddy," to hustle to his bed for bedtime. Stitch would thrive in a home that offers a balance of playtime, cuddles, and calm companionship. For Stitch’s happiness and comfort, he is best suited as the only pet in an adult-only household.
