Meet Izzy, a cheerful and easy-going girl who loves belly rubs and giving her paw. She's friendly with dogs of all sizes and currently shares her space with two adult males and a senior Boston terrier. Izzy is intelligent and eager to please, quickly picking up commands. While she enjoys sleeping in a crate, she prefers a cozy bed next to you at night. This sweet dog enjoys kiddie pools and rolling around in the dirt. She’s house-trained and doggy door trained but struggles with separation anxiety, so she can't be kenneled when left alone. Izzy is currently receiving medication to help manage her anxiety and is best suited for a home where she won't be left alone for long periods. She walks well on a leash and remains quiet even when others bark. Izzy has some congenital knee defects and mild hip dysplasia, requiring long-term glucosamine and pain management as she ages.
