About Gaston
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Meet Gaston, a sweet but shy 1-year-old Labrador Retriever/Australian Kelpie mix looking for the right adopter to help him slowly come out of his shell. Weighing only 26 pounds, Gaston thrives in a calm, patient home where he can adjust at his own pace. While he might not be the best fit for homes with small children, he does wonderfully with teenagers. Gaston gets along great with cats and, although he has yet to be introduced to other dogs, he's likely to do well with them after a proper and patient introduction. He's already house trained and walks nicely on a leash, settling in quickly once familiar. Gaston is a little timid, especially around new people, so if your household is busy with lots of visitors, providing him with a safe space like a kennel at those times will help him feel more comfortable. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
