About Kaya
Kaya is a 2-year-old Husky mix who recently discovered what it means to be part of a family. Growing up isolated in a backyard, she’s learned quickly to appreciate affection and loves being included in daily activities. Now, she’s playful, curious, and always ready for an outdoor adventure—walks and hikes bring out her happiest, goofiest self. Kaya’s silly energy and bold personality can light up a room. While she’s still learning dog-to-dog social skills, she may get along with a calm dog around her size, but cats aren’t a fit for her home. She comes house trained, spayed, vaccinated, and has some basic commands under her belt. Kaya’s shy with new people and changes, so she’ll thrive with structure, patience, and a gentle routine. Her ideal situation is an active household with a secure yard (6 ft fences required), a calm atmosphere, and an experienced, confident adopter to help her grow. Kaya is ready to meet her match—if you’ve got the time and heart for her, she’s ready to be your best friend. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
