Charlie
AvailableCharlie is a buff and white Domestic Medium Hair with a large build and medium-length, silky fur. He is an adult, neutered male cat who lives in Selah, WA. His vaccinations are up to date, and he is house trained. Charlie gets along well with other cats and would make a gentle, affectionate companion for a patient home.
About Charlie
Charlie spent his early days fending for himself, moving quietly along city train tracks in Yakima and searching for the basicsāfood, shelter, and a safe patch to rest. That changed the day his foster mom stepped in and showed him what genuine human connection feels like. Now, Charlie has settled into a gentler rhythm, discovering the joy in head scratches, conversation, and a good can of wet food. Life indoors suits him; heās an easygoing cat who enjoys batting toys and welcomes the company of other felines. Charlie loves to be petted, especially when his foster parent is patient and calm. He stays mostly quiet, sometimes mewing to announce himself, and although heās not always sure about being picked up, heāll accept it if you go slow. His fur is soft and silkyāan invitation for gentle hands. Charlie bears a vet-tipped ear from his neutering, a sign he was once just another unclaimed stray, though heās nothing close to feral. Like many rescue cats, Charlie asks only for patience and a gentle introduction as he settles in. Heāll do best as an indoor cat with someone committed to helping him rebuild trust. Want to spend some time brushing out his coat and watching his personality come alive? Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
