About Cassie

Cassie’s start in life hasn’t been easy. Left behind by her previous owners in Yakima, she’s quiet and easy-going, carrying a gentle streak that makes her easy to be around. She’s still learning to trust, but once someone offers her a calm voice and a gentle touch, she’s all in—seeking out attention and affection the moment she feels safe. Watching from her favorite spot in a kitty hammock, Cassie spends her afternoons napping or slowly observing the room. Canned food is a highlight in her day, and though she’s a little uneasy with being picked up, taking it slow makes a world of difference. Her coat is lush and healthy, a sure sign she still has plenty of good years ahead as a young adult. Although a vet ear-tipped her during her spay surgery (standard for some rescues), Cassie is very much a domestic companion, not a feral cat. She’ll need someone patient and kind, willing to help her settle in and rebuild trust at her own pace. She must remain indoors to keep her secure and comfortable. If you’re looking for a cat who needs a little extra patience but gives love in return, Cassie is waiting in Selah, WA, ready for her new chapter. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
