Hi there, my name is Cassie. I was found in Yakima after being someone’s pet and then sadly abandoned by my humans. I’m very easy-going, quiet, gentle and loving, but because I was dumped off I still do have some trust issues, however once you pet me and talk to me I eat it up and long for a connection with humans. I also love napping and observing from the comfort of my kitty hammock, and I love me some canned cat food. I’m pretty chill but am a bit unsteady being picked up so just take it slow and we’ll be ok. Hopefully you can see by my luxurious coat that I’m quite healthy and still a young adult in the prime of life! So what do you say? Would you like to meet? As a side note, you may see that a vet ear tipped me when I was spayed because the vet doesn’t know the cats brought in from rescue therefore they ear tip us all, but I’m most definitely not feral! Please remember that rescue cats have a past and will need someone to be patient and kind with them as they settle in to their new home. Just like humans, trust can come with time. Patience is a requirement to help these cats rebuild trust with humans, and they must remain indoors. We would be more than happy to help educate and provide advice through the rehoming process.
