He’s not a fan of other cats and is looking for an indoor-only situation where he can thrive as the sole feline.
About Bodie
Bodie’s story could have ended early, but he was saved from euthanasia when his former family couldn't manage his diabetes. Now 12 years old and living in a loving foster home, Bodie is a short-haired, medium-sized gray and brown tabby with white accents. He’s front paw declawed and takes regular insulin, but he’s stable and still has plenty of life left in him. Bodie’s world revolves around people—he adores cuddles and will greet you with an impressive purr every time you walk in. While he can be grumpy toward other cats, he limits his displeasure to a stern growl and prefers to keep his space to himself. Bodie is looking for a quiet, indoor-only home where his diabetes can be carefully managed and he can be the center of his person’s attention. No other cats, please—he truly wants to be your one and only. Start your journey together! Apply now.

Tabby cats like Bodie are generally adaptable, but he’ll do best in a calm, stable indoor home where routines can be maintained easily.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Bodie, a tabby, should remain indoors for his health and safety, especially given his diabetes and being declawed. He does not need outdoor space.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Tabby cats are often fine around children who treat them gently, but Bodie’s age, declawed status, and health suggest he’d be happier in a quiet, adult household.
