About Max

Max is a German shepherd and pit bull mix who hasn’t had it easy. Born in 2022, he started life in a tough spot—his previous owners let him roam and an incident with chickens resulted in him being shot. He’s bounced back from surgery, but now needs a new start somewhere outside Clallam County. Max is a big dog with a thick medium coat, and he’ll need a securely fenced yard without any farm animals. He gets along with large dogs and is friendly with people. Because of his size, a home with children aged eight and up would be the best fit. Max is house trained and neutered, and his vaccinations are up to date. He brings a lot of energy and heart, looking for someone who can match it. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
