About Erik
Erik is a wobbly boy with Cerebellar Hypoplasia, a neurological condition sometimes called wobbly cat syndrome. Although his walk is unsteady, he isn’t in any pain and still enjoys plenty of playtime and lounging with people. Erik loves to climb into laps for stability—he’ll use his claws for balance, so extra padding or a gentle nudge is sometimes needed. He’s a gentle, affectionate cat with an assortment of silly noises and a big heart. Bath and sponge bath time goes smoothly, as he occasionally needs a little help keeping clean. Erik would thrive in a home with carpet and a family ready to support his special way of getting around. Families familiar with or eager to learn about caring for disabled cats will be a great match for him. He does well with other cats too. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
