About Coda
Coda is a playful, energetic, and deeply sweet Black Labrador Retriever mix living in Kingwood, TX. She gets along well with other dogs and kids, embracing any chance to romp and show affection. Shy at first, she quickly comes out of her shell with a little patience. Coda’s early years weren’t easy—she spent most of her time alone in a backyard crate, without the attention or love she deserved. Despite this, she is gentle and loves being close to people. When Coda was rescued, she faced down Parvo and heartworm and came through strong and healthy. She does not get along with cats but welcomes dogs and children. Coda is house trained, spayed, vaccinated, and ready for a family who will give her the happy life she’s fought so hard to find. As an Aries, she brings a bold and loving energy to every day.
