About Coda
Click apply to start the adoption process. Coda is a playful, energetic, and incredibly sweet Black Labrador Retriever mix who shines brightest when surrounded by other dogs and children. Though initially a little shy around new people, she blossoms into an affectionate companion once she gets to know you. Her early life was tough—she spent much of it in a backyard crate, with little love or socialization. Despite these hardships, Coda remains outgoing, loving, and always eager for affection. When first rescued, Coda bravely overcame parvo and completed successful heartworm treatment, proving she has the heart of a survivor. Now, she’s patiently waiting for a forever family who will give her the love and attention she deserves. Coda is house trained, up to date on vaccinations, and spayed, so she’s ready to settle into your home and heart. She can’t live with cats, but adores children and canine friends. A fun fact: Born April 15th, she’s an Aries, known for their boldness and loyal spirit—which perfectly matches her! Her adoption includes transport from Humble, TX to her new home arranged by the rescue. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
