About Wastey
Wasteyâs story starts rough but her spirit is anything but. Found with her siblings as a tiny puppy, tossed away in a trash bag near a creek, sheâs done more than just surviveâsheâs thrived into a solid, clever dog with personality to spare. Around the W&S Sanctuary, Wasteyâs earned her stripes as the self-appointed boss, keeping the puppy crowd in check and taking her "favorite aunt" duties seriously with younger dogs. With people sheâs affectionate and playful. Wastey greets her friends with a signature low, playful "bear growl," looking for couch snuggles whenever the opportunity comes up. Sheâs happiest in an environment where she can get close with her humans and not get lost in the crowd. Wastey is fast, loves to run and play, and needs a physical environment as sharp as her mindâsheâll jump a short fence or dig out if the mood strikes. Crate and potty trained, vaccinated, and spayed, sheâs done the work. Her obedience base is solid, but she thrives with new challenges. She gets along with other dogs, enjoys cats, and is usually friendly with new people after warming up. Wasteyâs waiting for someone whoâll appreciate her sassy side and match her energy. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
