Boss is a happy-go-lucky boy. He is learning manners and knows sit and down (although he forgets occasionally so probably needs to be in a home with adults). He loves to play with rope toys, he doesn't always bring it back but will throw it for himself and run around. He will do anything for a ball. He wants to be with his people and involved in everything. He loves his people but can be protective. He would be a great running buddy (if you can keep up!!). He comes up to you and has learned to sit to get loving. He thinks he is a lap dog. He is learning not to counter surf, but since he can see over the counters, he knows when there is good stuff around. He is dog selective and would prefer to be an only child. He had a rough go his first year and while loved, he spent most of his time in a kennel due to circumstances beyond his control so he craves attention and will do anything to please you. If you need a loyal companion who has a goofy grin, Boss could be your new best friend!
