Fern
AvailableFern is a small, gray and white, spayed domestic short hair/tabby cat in Forest Lake, MN. She is house trained, vaccinated, and requires a special home who can manage her heart condition and provide the care she needs. Fern gets along well with other cats and children, making her a wonderful companion in the right environment.
About Fern
Fern came to rescue at just a few weeks old and, despite being diagnosed with a grade 5 heart murmur and heart failure at three months, she’s shown remarkable tenacity. She has outlasted every prognosis, celebrating two years in foster care. Fern gets along well with other cats and adores spending time with people. She eats well, plays like any young cat, and enjoys her daily routines. Her heart condition is currently stable, and while she isn't on medication right now, her adopter will need to be comfortable managing a cat with a serious heart issue. Fern sometimes gets urinary tract or ear infections, but those have been easily handled with antibiotics. Her future is uncertain, yet she is full of life and happiness. She needs an experienced adopter willing to accept her unpredictable timeline and help maintain her comfort and joy. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
