Her story took a difficult turn when her previous owner returned her to animal control, requesting euthanasia due to financial difficulties in managing Nina’s thyroid condition. Thankfully, Nina’s SpayMart microchip led her to safety instead of euthanasia. After successful thyroid surgery, Nina has made a full recovery and no longer requires medication. Though she’s a bit shy, this sweet girl would thrive in a calm, lowkey home where she can enjoy her golden years as the only pet. Having been an "only child," other animals tend to frighten her.
