About Nick

They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Meet Nick, a 2-year-old brown and white tabby with a heart as big as his adorable eyes. Nick’s story began at a car dealership in New Orleans East, where he was part of a colony of stray cats. The initial intention was to spay and neuter the group and release them, but during Nick’s medical checkup, it was discovered that two of his toes were so severely damaged they required amputation. While recovering, Nick’s sweet and easygoing nature shone through, endearing him to everyone around him. He quickly made it clear he was destined for a cozy home, not life around cars. Nick can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but his affectionate personality comes out once he feels safe. He cherishes gentle pets, head scratches, and relaxing in quiet spots—be it tucked under the bed or curled beside you on the couch. Nick would thrive best in a calm, loving environment and enjoys the company of other cats. If you’re searching for a kind and resilient companion, Nick is ready to leave his dealership days behind for a loving forever home. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
