Meet Sabrina. Sabrina a 2 year old DSH mix, came to the SPCA with 4 adorable ginger kittens. They were found abandoned on a rural FM road in Smith County. Though young, Sabrina was exposed to large numbers of mosquitoes and was heartworm positive. Luckily for Sabrina, the SPCA is committed to getting her the medical care she needs. She has been checked out by our veterinarian and is being monitored for any sign of complication due to heartworms. Since feline heartworms tend to resolve on their own, Sabrina is cleared to find a forever home! Adoption comes with spay, microchip, full adult vaccinations, dewormer and a free month of heartworm & flea prevention! She must be kept on monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention to manage the fact that she is heartworm positive.
