About Duke Jackson
Duke Jackson is a 9-year-old Boston Terrier based in Jackson, TN and represents everything people love about the breed. Lively and a bit stubborn, he thrives on daily walks, time in the sun, and plenty of play with his favorite toys. Duke has been neutered, is microchipped, house trained, and is up to date on all vaccines and heartworm prevention. In the mornings, he's ready to get moving and enjoys a quiet stroll before the day heats up. He’s crate trained and finds comfort in routine, including mealtime and periods of rest. Duke is currently on Prozac to help with the transition to a permanent home, but this could be tapered off as he settles into his new environment and routine. Duke will do best as the only dog in the home and should not be placed with children due to his energy and temperament. His recent lab work shows mildly elevated liver and kidney values, so annual monitoring is recommended. He’s funny, spirited, and well-suited for an adopter who knows Boston Terriers and appreciates their distinct personalities.
