Deuce is a large, mixed breed Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier with a short brown and white coat. As a senior male, he is both affectionate and independent, thriving as the only animal in his home. He is house trained, neutered, and his vaccinations are up to date. Currently waiting for his new family at the SPCA of Anne Arundel County, Deuce is looking for a quiet, loving environment to call his own.

About Deuce

This could be the start of something paw-some. Deuce is perfect! This big, sweet guy walks well on a leash, loves relaxing on the couch with you, and is a pro at fetch with his favorite stuffies. Deuce is house trained and can be fully trusted alone; he sleeps through the night and is so quiet, he won't even snore! Although Deuce prefers to be the king of his own castle and would do best as the only pet without other dogs, cats, or kids, he is not usually reactive to unfamiliar dogs during walks and enjoys being out for strolls with familiar canine friends. Exploring trails is one of his favorite activities, followed by backyard playtime and cozy naps. He's incredibly affectionate and adores his people, so get ready for plenty of kisses! Deuce came to the rescue as an owner surrender due to a change in his previous owner's circumstances, but he already knows lots of commands and quickly makes himself at home. He's also an excellent car companion. If you think Deuce is the perfect match, don't wait to meet him! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
