About Miss May W.

Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Miss May is a young, approximately 12 to 13-month-old cat with beautiful white fur adorned by striking gray tabby markings that resemble a cape draped across her back. Found in a residential area of Russell County after being left to fend for herself, she was cared for by kind neighbors who discovered she was pregnant. Understanding the risks of outdoor birth in the heat of summer, the community reached out to the Somerset-Pulaski County Humane Society for help, and Miss May was welcomed into their care when she was in need the most. In a remarkable show of resilience, Miss May gave birth to twelve kittensโ€”an unusually large litter for any cat. Despite these challenging circumstances, she proved herself to be an exceptional mother with the help of her dedicated foster mom. Through attentive care and bottle feeding, all ten surviving kittens thrived and grew strong. Now that her kittens are weaned, Miss May has been spayed, tested negative for FIV/FeLeuk, vaccinated, and microchipped, and is ready to begin her life as a cherished companion. According to her foster mom, Miss May is an incredibly sweet-natured cat who simply loves to be near people and cuddle in laps. She is ready to find a loving person or family who will make her feel safe and adored. Did you know Miss May is a Sagittarius, making her extra adventurous and affectionate?
