If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle soul to love on and share quiet moments with—you might have just found him. My name is Bailey. Life wasn’t always easy for me. I was abandoned and left to fend for myself, searching for food and safety in a residential area where construction was happening. It was loud, scary, and lonely. Thankfully, a kind lady rescued me and contacted the rescue for help. Since then, I’ve been neutered, fully vetted, and micro-chipped. I have about 50% vision in one eye and a slight limp from an old injury—most likely from my time outside without medical care. The vet says nothing can be done now, but it doesn’t slow me down one bit! I can run, play, and chase toys just fine. I’m about 1.5 to 2.5 years old, with soft medium-length fur, a gorgeous plume tail, and big golden eyes. I enjoy playing with catnip toys and springs, lounging in sunny spots, and stretching out for cozy naps. I’d be happiest as your only kitty since I really love people, but I could live with another gentle, non-dominant cat. I’m not fussy—I just want affection, “rubbies,” and a nice perch by the window to watch the world go by. I haven’t been around young children, but teens would be fine. Dogs? They’re a little too scary for me, given my past.
