About Bramwell Rush
Start your journey together! Apply now. Bramwell Rush, affectionately known as 'Rusty,' is an approximately 8-year-old male Yorkshire Terrier who weighs 6.5 pounds and sports a gorgeous long coat. Rusty has made it clear that his ideal forever home is with a single woman—he does not thrive with men or children in the household. After many attempts in homes with male family members, it's become clear that Rusty truly flourishes when he is the sole canine companion to a special lady. Rusty was surrendered after his previous owner became ill and could no longer care for him. While he has occasionally done okay with men in short-term settings, he consistently becomes uncomfortable with them over time. For this reason, his next home must be the best match for his needs, ensuring a lifetime of security and happiness. Rusty is a loving, playful, and loyal companion who lives for snuggling with his chosen human, enjoys car rides, and absolutely delights in forging a strong one-on-one bond. Rusty is up to date on vaccinations, preventatives, and is microchipped to ensure his safety. His adoption fee is simply a donation of your choosing, which helps toward his medical needs. He will also receive complimentary local obedience classes and ongoing behavioral support through the project's reward program at Snooty Giggles Dog Rescue. He’s eager to meet the special someone who can provide the calm, loving home he deserves—could that be you? Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
