Booker is a remarkable 8-year-old Yorkie/Poodle mix who embodies resilience. He was discovered on the roadside in a quiet area of Middle Tennessee, needing urgent rescue on one of the summer's hottest days. Horribly matted, his fur was shaved down to the skin, but now it's growing back beautifully white. From the very first moment he arrived at his foster home, Booker charmed everyone with his affectionate nature and zest for life. He’s sociable, loving both people and other pets, happily mingling with dogs of all sizes and kids too. Although his leash manners are still a work in progress, he's making strides with training. In the yard, Booker delights in chasing butterflies, always joyful and curious. At night, he's content to either snuggle up next to you or stay cozy in his crate.
