Hi My name is Pumba! I am a 5 year old squishy tri color micro bully. I’m small and only weigh 45 lbs. I first showed up to the Shelter as a stray as a hot mess. I had skin problems, ouchies on my toes, and kennel cough. At my appointment they found out I have an advanced heart murmur stage 5/6. So that means I may not have a long life to live unfortunately. Thankfully Simba’s Paw Dog Rescue rescued me. They got me to the vet to see what was going on. Everyone loved me there and i got all the belly rubs! X-rays show I have a very enlarged heart and am in congestive heart failure. I was finally able to get neutered and on multiple heart medication to prolong my life as long as possible. Not the best news but I am happy and enjoying my life. I am looking for a loving hospice/fospice home that can give me lots of love for whatever time I have left, it could be months or years, or could be longer. I am the most adorable squishy meatball and I love to be the center of attention. I am pretty mellow and love taking naps and getting belly rubs. I need to stay on low activity for my heart which is fine with me cus I love to cuddle. I can be dog selective because I’m a little grumpy with my health issues and would rather have all the attention. But I am good with female dogs and can easily co exist with other dogs with slow intros. No kitty cats! If you are interested in being a hospice foster for Pumba please reach out.
