About King

Click apply to start the adoption process. King is a sweet, 8-year-old rescue who was heartbreakingly surrendered after spending his life with a family. Despite this major upheaval, King has remained a loving soul, making friends with everyone during his time in the shelter. His friendly disposition led him to serve as a "greeter" for new shelter arrivals, and staff quickly fell for his sweet and happy personality. King bravely faced a skin condition upon arriving at the shelter, and despite being placed on the euthanasia list due to his age and medical needs, SNARR stepped in so he could begin to heal in a caring foster home. He is recovering quickly, and his spirit continues to shine. This boy bonds deeply with people, adores cuddling, and always wants to be close. Walks are among his favorite activities—he's excellent on leash and enjoys meeting new friends in the neighborhood. King's gentle nature makes him a wonderful companion for all: he gets along beautifully with dogs, cats, adults, and children alike. His eagerness to please, affectionate cuddles, and irresistible big heart make him a truly special companion who is looking for a forever family to give him the comfort and love he's always deserved. By the way, King was born under the sign of Virgo, so you can expect a loyal and gentle presence in your home! Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
