The two ended up in an overcrowded shelter where time and hope were quickly running out. Thankfully, one of our rescue partners stepped in just in time and found a local foster to bring them to safety. Not long after arriving in foster care, heartbreaking news came about KitKat — she has a terminal condition and her time with us will be far too short. When they first arrived, Buck leaned heavily on his sister for comfort. She was his safe place in a confusing new world. Now, as Buck prepares for the next chapter of his life, we want to make sure it's one filled with stability, kindness, and love. Buck is a young dog who has already been through more than most.
