About Lanie
Lanie is a spirited and affectionate Labrador mix with a lot of life left to live. Weighing in at about 53 pounds, she’s all about long walks and exploring every nook she can find. She’s got a real fondness for car rides, and when excitement settles, she makes herself comfortable in her crate—her own little haven. Lanie likes to bring a toy to bed and will gladly snuggle up for a nap, especially if there’s a treat involved. Peanut butter is her top pick, and she’ll be your friend for life with a lick mat and a little PB. She has a sweet, gentle spirit that comes through the moment you meet her, but she needs to be your one and only—Lanie is dog reactive and will do best as the only dog in your home. Her past left her with a visible scar around her neck, a reminder of a rough beginning, but she’s healed and ready to move on. Lanie is looking for someone who will see past her history and give her the love and attention she’s always deserved. A secure, visible fence is required for her, and adoption is limited to the Louisville area. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
