About McQueen
Meet McQueen! This striking 6-year-old Shepherd/Husky mix tips the scales at about 63 pounds and brings a friendly, steady presence wherever he goes. After being picked up as a stray and sadly left unclaimed, McQueen is now looking for a second shot at a real home through the Humane Society of Oldham County in La Grange, KY. McQueen is a sharp guy who already knows sit, rides well in the car, walks politely on a leash, and hasn’t had a single house training issue. Around medium and large dogs, he shows good manners and fits right in, but his excitement gets the better of him with tiny, bouncy pups—there’s no aggression, just lots of energy. Most of the time you’ll find him calm and quiet, though every once in a while he’ll throw in a classic Husky “chat.” Recently vetted and fresh from a dental cleaning, McQueen is healthy and ready to meet the people who’ll give him the steady, loving household he’s been waiting for. He’s great with both dogs and children. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
