About Chia
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Meet Chia, a sprightly two-year-old, eight-pound chihuahua bursting with energy and personality. This petite girl is as vocal as she is playful, so if barking would be an issue for your living situation, she may not be the ideal match. Chia adores her toys and bones and displays a puppy-like zest for life, seeming even younger than her age. Initially, she may bark, chase, and act out when meeting new people, but quickly warms up and becomes your little friend. She gets along with dogs of all sizes in her foster home, although she has a bit of jealousy and prefers to be the boss. Fortunately, she is also friendly with the resident cats. Chia is very food motivated, which bodes well for training, though she's still working on her house training skills. She enjoys sleeping snugly under the covers at night and loves all the attention she can get. Chia is not a fan of kennels and may cry briefly when left in one, potentially making her better suited for life without extended crating. She walks nicely on a leash, rides well in the car, and would thrive in a loving home looking for a playful and affectionate companion. Chia is spayed and current on vaccinations. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
