About Dottie
Dottie is wonderful with kids and dogs of all sizes, fitting right into homes with busy families or other pups. At around 3-4 years old, she brings just the right amount of energy for most lifestyles—not hyper, not sluggish. Dottie needs a forever home without cats, but she truly loves having children or other dogs as companions. She came from a tough hoarding situation in Alabama and has spent over a year with her foster mom, patiently waiting her turn for a real family. Super sweet and loving, Dottie adores cuddling anytime and anywhere, sometimes melting right into your lap. She sunbathes on her back, takes meal times seriously, and keeps her food bowl spotless. This Dalmatian is crate trained but so well-behaved that the crate is rarely needed. She's house trained, travels well in the car, and responds eagerly to treats with those signature perked ears. When excited, Dottie spins in playful circles, entertaining everyone around her. Although she’s watched her foster siblings find their families, Dottie is still waiting to meet her match. She loves meeting new friends and is always ready for the next adventure. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
