Poppy is a one-year-old sweetheart (lab/pointer/beagle) who came to us from the Duplin County shelter, where she was rescued just in the nick of time. She’s blossomed into a happy, healthy girl, now weighing about 33 pounds—just the perfect size for cuddles and adventures! Poppy still has the playful spirit of a puppy and greets each day with joy and enthusiasm. One of her favorite activities is running and romping in the yard with a canine buddy, so she’d love a home with a fenced yard and maybe even a doggy playmate to share her fun. She’s also learning all the skills that make her an amazing family companion—she rides nicely in the car, walks well on a leash, and has great manners in the home thanks to her foster. Poppy adores people and soaks up every bit of love and attention she can get. Her eagerness to please, sweet personality, and zest for life will quickly win over your heart. Poppy is fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and heartworm negative. She’s ready to find a forever family who will cherish her as much as she will adore them! ?
