Kai is a sweet 4-year-old short-haired mix weighing around 25 pounds. This cheerful little guy is full of love and always excited to greet you when you walk through the door. Heās a loyal companion who enjoys being near his people and is content lounging in his bed while you work or relax. He does take some time to warm up to men, but once you earn his trust, he will love you right back. Kai looks forward to his daily walks, where he can indulge his curious nose and take in all the interesting smells. Mealtime is another highlight of his dayāhe gets adorably excited when it's time to eat! Heās currently working on learning his basic commands like āsitā and āstay,ā and he's already mastered potty training and using a doggy door. Kai does best with dogs close to his own size, as larger pups can sometimes be a bit overwhelming for him. Heās okay with kids and cats, too, and is gradually building confidence with new experiences and environments. While some things can still be a little scary, Kai is learning to navigate the world with more ease every day. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate, and easygoing companion, Kai might just be the perfect match for you! He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. His adoption fee is $300. All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs, vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies. Please go to www.secondchancedogrescue.org and complete an application today! All dogs live in private foster homes until they are adopted.
