Her favorite hobbies include napping, lounging, and perfecting her “resting best life” face. Sunday is a doggy daycare regular, where she’s the go-to gal for chill vibes with the crew. She often gets promoted to door greeter-and before you ask-yes, it’s as cool as it sounds. When she gets tired from playing, she gets to hang in the lobby with her human friends and greet all the pups that come in the door. She can be a little cautious with new humans at first, but once you pass her stranger-danger test, you’ll see she’s as easy as Sunday morning. She’d personally prefer someone with Cane Corso breed experience so that they understand her need for slower introductions and time when meeting new people. She’s naturally a guardian breed so she will love you unconditionally and loyally forever if you take your time getting to know her! You guessed it—she’s cool as a cucumber in the car. She’s just happy to be included…especially if squeaky toys can come too. Cats? You will be asked to return for at least one follow-up visit, then take the dog home for a trial period before officially adopting. • You must be 21 years or older to adopt from STAF. • Due in part to increasing coyote activity/incidents in the area and the difficulty of predicting how a dog will respond to invisible fence training, we can not adopt to homes with invisible fences. • We do request vet and personal references. • We can facilitate adoptions within a 30-mile radius of our Cincinnati-based shelter.
